| Hound40.Bas is finally finished! It took me a long time to complete this version, especially compared to the older version (Hound32.Bas), and im certain you'll see why. All those annoying bugs that Hound32 was riddled with have all been fixed plus all new functions added. You sent mail Hound_Dog listened! That's right, i recieved a ton of mail from the old version and i was happy to see that even though all the people who mailed me told me they loved the bas, they also pointed out all the flaws and missing features. Because of them and you, this Bas file is sure to please most of you , hopefully all. Ok ok i know you have some questions about it before you want to download, so ill go over some questions i feel you might have: Did you fix the ChatSend function? Yea i did, and believe me i'm glad i did, i took me a while to figure out the problem and solution because i'm used to a slightly different type of narrowing down windows. I incorporated a new way for me to do it. What's new with it? Well for starters the old functions were fixed and made as better as i could make them. As for new functions, this version contains CChat Commands and Server Functions. The server functions include adding new,old, and sent mail to a listbox and also find function to mail a list of "finds" and a Server_SendByIndex function FWD mail. That function also gets rid of the "FWD:" in the subject. As for the CChat commands, included all in one function is commands to chat ignore people with Instr,which means that to ignore someone with the screen name User1234, all you have to do is type -X-User or -x-1234 in chat, it searches the list, finds the closest match and ignores then, this applies for unignore too. It also includes CDPlayer function, i incorporated my CDPlayer bas into Hound40. I wrote that bas a while ago and feel its relieble enough to be released seperatley and inside Hound40.Bas. All CChat commands are in the Hound40.Txt file that comes in the zip. What about the PWC function? Oh yea my favorite..well AOL updated to a 4 button screen so i made 2 different function one for 3 buttons and one for 4, and you can use another function i made to tell you the # of buttons the user has. Well believe me i tested this as much as i could and it works i even added such things as using a 3rd list that stores the sn's and pw's.Hope ya like! *By the way sorry for this but: as far as the pwc function...you downloaded it, you take responsability for it.
